Mad About Manners Pre-Teen Coed Fall '22
The Mad About Manners Pre-Teen is for 10-12 year old ladies & gentlemen. It comprises a three day Sunday afternoon series designed to further promote social awareness, conversation skills, communication etiquette, and advanced table manners.
As pre-teen’s advance to middle school, the challenges of peer pressure and more social opportunities arise. It is more important than ever that they are equipped with the self confidence it takes to make good choices. Our Mad About Manners series helps to build on that confidence so your pre-teens feel good about who they are and the decisions they make. Classes are designed to "meet the student where he or she is right now" so previous participation in one of our classes is not necessary.
Class Details:
Class Meetings Time: 1-2:30pm; September 11, 18, 25
Ages: 10-12 yr old Co-ed Students
Class Location: 900 Carmelian Street, Huntsville, AL 35801
Day I - Effective Communication: improving communication skills through social media with peers, teachers, parents, and prospective employers. Proper introductions, the handshake, basic interviewing skills, resume building, and thank you notes.
Day II - Appearance: Appropriate dress, posture, and hygiene inside and out (What we consume affects how we feel).
Day III - Social Behavior: How we act affects our world. It is important to understand our beliefs and values so we better understand our place in the social environments we may find ourselves in. We will also be enjoying a three course meal together while discussing table manners.
